Day & Night Praise The Lord

Psalms‬ 92:1-2

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,”

Psalms‬ 92:1-2‬ NKJV‬‬

One thing that we need to do that has a lasting impression for eternity, is praising God. Starting out the morning proclaiming God’s love begins the day focused on God. As you get up in the morning remember God’s great love in giving you another day to serve and love Him. Keep in mind that His mercies and compassions are new every morning.

Remember His great love in forgiving us of all of our sins. Tell others about God’s great love to us and them. At the end of our day take time to remember God’s faithfulness throughout the day.

How did God provide for all of our needs during that day? What opportunities did God give us to serve Him and others? How did God show His faithfulness by protecting us? How did God reveal His presence to us though the day? How did He give us peace and comfort in our day?

When we find ourselves in a time of coming up against the feelings of fear, anxiety, and worry, often our last inclination is a move to praise. Even though it’s the one thing we don’t feel like doing, it’s literally the most important thing for us to turn to when we’re feeling down and out.

When we encounter life’s inevitable challenges, we need to get to the place where we’re no longer being driven by our feelings, but by what you might call spiritual habits or spiritual best practices. The way we make this a reality in our life is to be very intentional about adding prayer and Bible reading our plan for each day, taking our cue from verse 2 where it says, to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening.

These small investments in our spiritual growth each day will pay off huge dividends over the course of our life journey. The list of God’s faithfulness to us is never ending. Think and talk about those things at the end of the day.

Let the world know that God is faithful. Among all of the things that we can do or need to do, these two things should be at the top of our list. Praising God and telling of His faithfulness. That is being the light in this world!!!

Father thank You for this day and Your mercies and compassion. Lord let Your abundant blessings flow over my friend and family today. Lord help each of us to find our own daily rhythm of praise. Lord make it such a critical part of our faith journey that we desire it as much as air, food, and water. Lord make it so ingrained in our day to day practices, that the next time we come up against fear, anxiety, and worry, we automatically find comfort by turning to praise. Lord help us to know God’s love more in our lives. Lord help us that we will see Your faithfulness more in our lives. Lord use my friend to be a light of Your love to all today. Be a blessing.
