Reflect on 2024 & Pray In 2025

As we close another year many of us are planning and deciding what we are going to change or give up for our New Year’s resolution and I don’t have anything against a resolution, I could probably stand to lose a pound or two, spend less time watching tv, and reading more books. But what if we chose to add something to our lives in 2025 instead of getting rid of things.

When it comes to following Jesus and walking the Christian path one of things that always comes up is the statement, God just wants me to be a rule follower, He just wants blind believers, and all he does it take stuff away.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In fact what God has really done is give himself up for us.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The honest truth is that God wants to give you everything, He wants you to have eternal life, He wants you to be with Him forever in Paradise.

Our hope and prayer for you coming into 2025 is to start the year off with a focus on what God has given to you and I and let our resolution be to follow Him, with our heart, minds, soul and strength.

Father thank You for the past year of victories and pain, and the strength You provided to bring us into another year. As we welcome 2025 we are grateful for the air in our lungs to praise Your name and to spread the good news of the Gospel of Your amazing Grace. Lord thank You for all our new friends and our amazing donors. Lord pour out your abundant blessings from the storehouses of heaven in 2025 upon them. Father, we love You. Amen
