Guiding Light

Psalms‬ ‭48‬:‭14

“For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.”

This verse is a powerful declaration of faith and trust in God's unwavering presence and guidance. It highlights the believer's reliance on God's eternal love and promises, even in the face of death.

God our Father is great and is greatly to be praised in every area of our lives. He is deeply concerned about His people and cares for each one of His children. He is interested in the daily round of our lives, our homes, our work, and the communities in which we live.

He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He is an ever present help when our enemies seek to overwhelm us.

Though the heavens declare the glory of God, it is through His Word that the Lord has unveiled Himself to His people, through His names and His character, His plan of redemption, and His purposes for those that trust on His name.

Our gracious God Who has a deep interest in the future of each of His children, has promised to be our guard and guide to the end of our lives and to keep us until we are transported into the eternal ages to come.

Our faithful God Whose steadfast love endures forever will be our guide, even to the very end. It is a comforting thought that we will never be alone in this life, and to be absent from the body in death means we are present with the Lord, and so we shall be with Him forever. Because of our loving Lord, death has lost its sting, and life is so sweet with our Lord by our side.

The best guide is the one who has been down the path or the one who knows the path from the beginning to the end. He has to have the experience to know how to guide another person correctly. God is the only one who can see the end from the beginning. He knows the path perfectly well and knows how to guide people on it.

Jesus guided the disciples while He walked on the earth. When He left, He sent His Holy Spirit to continue guiding the disciples. Today every believer can have His Holy Spirit to guide him on the path in following Jesus and becoming more like Him.

You can also have God’s Holy Spirit in you and guiding you. As you read and study God’s word you will be guided by His Holy Spirit in how to live your life. You are on the path towards becoming like Jesus in every way. It is a lifelong path, that will end only when God calls you into heaven for eternity.

Instead of looking towards temporary help that this world gives, and that will fall short, look towards God’s guidance. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in every area of your life for ever!!!

Father thank You for this day and for the breath of life today. Lord pour out Your abundant blessings over my friend and family today. Lord in the sanctuary of Your presence, we find refuge and strength, and we praise You for Your faithfulness and steadfast love that surrounds us like a strong tower. Lord guide us by Your Spirit and lead us in paths of righteousness, that we may walk in obedience to Your will. Lord Your peace, like a gentle river, flow through the corridors of our souls, calming our fears and anxieties. Lord

May our lives be a testament to Your goodness and mercy, shining brightly for all to see today. Be a blessing.
