God Our Heart’s Strength & Portion

Psalms‬ 73:26

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalms‬ 73:26‬ NIV‬‬

It is inevitable. People will fail us. They will disappoint us. Our bodies will get sick and our minds will make us doubt ourselves. This life is tough. But that’s why God gave us the Bible, so that we can read it and be encouraged.

He reminds us that when all else fails, when we are discouraged and feel helpless, God won’t fail us. He is our strength. He is with us forever. How awesome is that? We will fail a lot in this life. What’s important is that we put our Faith and Trust in God because He will never fail.

In life, our inner being flesh will sometimes become weak and weary, and lack confidence because of all that life is throwing at us. We will become perplexed at the horrendous despairing  problems we face daily. We may even get to the point of being despondent and demoralized.

It is then we must draw from and have confidence that God is our rock and our strength.

He is our high place where we can go to, to rise above all that is afflicting us. He is our right time supply in the midst of our greatest need. He is the true source of our provision that never runs out. God fences us in. He spread His wings over us. The Lord places us in the palm of His hand where no one or nothing is able to get to us. He is the only help and hope we have in our darkest hour.

The Lord gives us courage to stand strong when everyone seems to be against us. The Lord is the strength of our lives. He refreshes us day in and day out. Keep looking unto Him. He is our only hope. Let us draw near to God, catching hold of His eternal perspective and trusting in His unfailing love with all of our hearts.

Let us not allow the circumstances that surround us and the apparent successes of the ungodly to cause us to doubt the goodness of God. But rather, let us declare the wonderful works of Him Who has saved us by grace through faith in Christ, adopted us into His own family, and covered us in Christ's royal robe of righteousness!!!

Father thank You for this day and the reminder in this verse, that wicked men are on a slippery slope to destruction, unless they turn from their wicked ways and trust in Christ for salvation. Lord let Your abundant blessings rain down upon my friend and family today. Lord thank You for Your never failing goodness and grace toward us. Lord may we draw ever closer to You and declare Your wonderful works in the land of the living, knowing that our times are in Your hands and our future is secured for us in heaven. Lord use my friend to the blessing someone is in need of today.

Father, we love You. Amen !
