God increases Your seed

2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭11‬

“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Blessed be God for the unspeakable gift of His grace, whereby He enables and inclines some of His people to bestow upon others, and others to be grateful for it and blessed be His Name to all eternity, for Jesus Christ, that inestimable gift of His love, through Whom this and every other good thing, pertaining to life and godliness, are freely given unto us, beyond all expression, measure, or bounds. As blood bought children of God, we are of all people most blessed. Not only was the penalty for our sin paid in full, by grace through faith in the death, burial, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also its suffocating power has been broken. The curse of the Law has been lifted, the sting of death has been removed, and we have been born into the family of God and become part of a totally new creation in Christ, with our sins forgiven and our eternal life secure. As born again citizens of heaven, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. As soon as we were saved, God started a new work. He began to lead us through the life changing process of sanctification, where we are being transformed, day by day, into the image and likeness of our Saviour. He has provided all we need for life and godliness, by preparing good works for us to do which, when carried out by His sovereign power and sufficient grace, earn for us a glorious reward and eternal weight of glory. Jesus Himself reminded us that He is the Sower and God is the One Who provides the good seed, in its season, for us to sow. The principle of generous sowing and abundant reaping reminds us that we are destined for rewards, when God carries out His good work in our lives and we die to self and live for Him. God is the One Who multiplies the seeds we sow, to bring forth much fruit, some thirty, some sixty, and some a hundred-fold. He has promised to abundantly bless and liberally multiply the work of our hand which is carried out in spirit and truth, so that by grace we will bring forth a fruitful harvest of righteousness which will enrich our lives and bring great glory to Him. When you consider that our generosity is only made possible by the grace that God has extended to us, it all seems rather fitting. Our resources, however great or small, are gifts from our loving God. We honor God when we give generously, expecting nothing in return. Let us endeavour to copy the example of Christ, being unwearied in doing good, and deeming it more blessed to give than to receive!!!

Father thank You for this day and Your abundant and abounding grace and for all that You have provided for our riches in glory. Lord let Your abundant blessings be my friend and family’s portion today. Lord enable us by Your grace, to bring forth a rich harvest of eternal blessings and spiritual rewards. Lord help us in the power of Your Holy Spirit, to live a life of practical righteousness, and continue to transform our hearts and minds into the image and likeness of You and for Your greater glory. Lord us my friend to be a bold witness of Your mercy and grace to all today. Daddy we love You amen. Be a blessing. Love ya !!
