1 Chronicles 16:34
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV
Aren’t you glad that you can give thanks to the Lord? God is good to us. We didn’t deserve His love but He gave it to us anyway. God since the beginning of time has been chasing after us and desiring a relationship with us.
Today you can give thanks to God. Your life might not be perfect. Things might not always turn out as you’d hoped, but regardless of what you see around you, what God has done for you is a reason to give thanks.
His goodness knows no limits, and so our praise and worship of Him should never be limited either. Today, be reminded of God's goodness and His steadfast love for you. He hasn't stopped loving us and never will. He is waiting for you today with open arms to embrace you and wrap you with His unfailing love.
Since God’s love is steadfast and enduring, it means God will never give up on us. God will never leave you or forsake us. How good He is. Because of how good He is, we always have a reason to give thanks and lift up praise to Him.
Even when bad things are happening around the world or our situations look dire, the unchanging goodness of God still stands yesterday, today and forever. The goodness of God is the overflowing generosity of God to all His creation.
The fascinating thing about God’s giving nature is that He receives nothing in return and lacks nothing as a result of it. God’s generosity flows from His being. It flows from His goodness. God is good. His goodness doesn’t fluctuate. The goodness of God is an essential aspect of His divine character.
He is the God of joy, peace, mercy, grace, power, majesty, beauty, love and so much more. Today, choose to spend some time giving God thanks.
Thank Him for His great plan to rescue you from sin. Thank Him for His love that never gave up on you. Tell God how great it is to know Him and to be His child!!!
Father thank You for this day and how we rejoice in You, for You are good and Your grace and mercy endure forever. Lord let Your abundant blessings be my friend and family’s portion today. Lord we give thanks to You and glory in Your holy name, for Your glory reaches to the heavens. Lord our hearts are filled with great gladness and joy when we rejoice over You. Lord You for paying the price for our sins and that You are with us every moment of the day, and thank You that You are coming again with great glory and majesty. Lord we worship and praise Your holy name for all Your goodness to all. Lord use my friend to be someone’s blessing today.
