Early Morning WalkIn God’s Will

Psalms‬ ‭143:8-10

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”

Psalms‬ ‭143:8-10 NIV

I love this prayer! God said, through Samuel the prophet, that King David was a man after His own heart. I truly believe this was one of the reasons. King David desired to do good. In his most honest times, he truly wanted to do the will of God. He was also humble enough, despite being a very powerful man, that he knew he still didn't have it all together. He knew that he needed to be taught more, and that God, though His Spirit, could lead him directly.

We need to adopt this attitude. The Lord is our Shepherd, and He is the shelter from the storm. He is the one that loves with an everlasting love, and He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. The loving-kindness of the Lord never fails, and the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father gives unlimited supply.

Finding direction in life is much more challenging. Often people look to other people or books to get their direction. David called out to God to give him direction. He fully trusted God to lead him correctly in life.

This is how we should trust in God as our only refuge and our only hope. This should be our daily prayer, Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God. Our hearts should long for the lovingkindness of God. To hear Him speak in words of steadfast love.

Each day without delay our hearts should call out to God. To seek His guidance in the way we should walk, that our lives would bring Him honor and glory. God’s divine guidance is surly indispensable, for only a Christ Driven life is effective, enjoyable and pleasing to God.

In Christ we have peace and security. Therefore, it should be our deepest desire to know the will of God, and also to have a heart to obey God’s will, for He is our God and Lord over our lives. In our life journey here on earth, there will be good times and bad, but through it all, with God as our Guide, we will make it through the trials and tribulations. And He will strengthen our faith.

When we trust in God, His good Spirit will ease the hardships and sorrows, and He will lead us in righteousness. God is the only one Who has perfect love and eternity in mind. He knows the beginning, the middle and the end at the same time. He knows the path that each person must take.

As a believer you must release your life into the hands of God. Trust that He knows what is best for you. Seek His guidance each day for the path for you to take in this life. God is waiting there to guide you in what you should think, say and do each moment of every day.

God clearly lays out the path that we are to follow and we should read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the Word of God with an undivided heart so that in the power of the Holy Spirit, we may grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God in each of our lives, that we should know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent!!!

Father thank You for this day and the breath of Your Word. Lord open the storehouses of Your abundant blessings and pour them out over my friend and family today. Lord we pray that we may know more of Jesus so that we may understand Your way and Your will for our lives. Lord thank You that Your loving-kindness is new every morning and that Your grace is sufficient, and thank You that in You, we are enabled to walk in the way that You would have us go. Lord may we lift our soul to You, submit our lives to Him, and follow His leading always. Lord use my friend to be someone’s blessing today.

Father, we love You. Amen!
