CLOTHED

Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10, NIV

Take a moment to think about what God has done for you and what He has given you. Remember what you deserve and are not getting. This should cause extreme delight in God's great love and mercy for you. Find your strength in what God has done for you and rejoice in that. Give God praise for the salvation and righteousness He has blessed you with. Nothing could be better than that.

What a cause of great joy and rejoicing to know that the gifts of God are glorious and without number. Who can count the many blessings that are showered down on each one of us day by day? He pours out gifts of the Spirit and gifts for the soul, and all His many gifts and graces to us are yes and amen in Christ. But the greatest gift of all is the garment of His salvation and the clean robe of His own precious righteousness, for greater than the gifts of God is the giver of all who has come to dwell in the hearts of all who believe in His name.

May we cultivate an attitude of humble gratitude and joyful thanksgiving for it is good to sing praises to the God of our salvation, for He has clothed us with the garments of salvation and has covered us with His robe of righteousness. These garments cannot be purchased, nor can they be made by your own hands.

The garments have already been provided, and the Lord has chosen us to wear them. He knows us, yet we are chosen, holy, and beloved. Do you want to be dressed

appropriately? Do you want to be dressed in a suitable and fitting way? Ask the Lord, and He will help you!!!

Father, thank You for this day and Your many gifts of pardon, peace, and purity, of faith, hope, and love. Lord, let Your abundant blessings be our portion this day. Lord, above all, we bless and thank You for the greatest of all gifts, which is the person of Yourself, who died to redeem us with His precious blood and who lives forever within our hearts. Lord, thank You for paying the price for our sins to give us life. Holy Spirit, thank You for the revelation that Jesus cleansed us from our sin and empowers us to live for God. Lord, use us to live in such a way that those around us know that You have made us whole and holy and that Your desire is to do it for them.

Father, we love You. Amen.
