Psalms‬ 55:22

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalms‬ 55:22‬ NIV‬‬

Not only can we cast our burdens on God, we are instructed to give all our concerns to God. He cares about us. God, the creator of the universe; God, the one who is more powerful than anyone or anything cares about us. So, go ahead. Take all our burdens and problems, our pain, our unrealized dreams, our hopes and give it all to God. He is infinitely able to help us. I must admit that the cares of this world can indeed be a burden if we allow it. Burdens can make the heart sick and weary, but casting our burdens on the Lord by faith, trusting Him, taking Him at His Word can strengthen our hearts as we daily learn to release, let go and let God be God in our lives. Regardless of our current situation or circumstances, we must know without a doubt that God cares for us to the point of not only taking on our burdens upon Himself, but He loved us enough to even die for us. If God was willing to die for us, would He not give us what is needed to sustain us in the midst of life's test and trials? Yes He will. Man may promise to carry your heavy load for a while or to a certain distance and then hand it back to you, but God promises to carry our burdens and us from the moment we give it to Him through eternity. Commit your way unto the Lord and see if He won't do just what He said concerning you in His Word. Believe it or not, our test, trials, burdens, etc are no match for our God. One spoken word from God can erase years of pain and suffering. When we pour our heart out to God and get our eyes on Him, we gain perspective. We have direct access to God. Trust God with everything your relationships, finances, pain, job, passions, hopes, disappointments, failures, wins in your life. He cares for you. When you trust God with everything, He will defend you, help you, and sustain you!!!

Father thank You for this day and for Your amazing mercy and grace. Lord let Your abundant blessings be my friend and family’s portion today. Lord thank You that no matter what dangers and evils threaten us and no matter what terrors and difficulties come near us that we may cast all our burdens upon You, knowing that You will sustain and strengthen us. Lord we praise God that greater is You that is in us than he that is in the world. Lord use my friend to be a bold witness of Your saving grace to this lost and decaying world today.
