“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”
Psalms 105:1-4 NIV
From the beginning to the end of Scripture, we see people created by God to call upon His Name. Even just this is so basic, but it’s so awesome. You and I were created for relationship with God where He speaks to us and we speak to Him. We have so much to be thankful for that God has given to us. We can rejoice and be glad. But we are not just to keep it to ourselves. We are to share them with everyone around us. We are to proclaim His deeds among the people. It should just burst forth because we have been blessed so much to share that with others. If each of us could keep only one thing in mind every day, this would be a good thing to remember. Seek God. Look for His leading in every situation. I truly believe that He wants to lead us. He says that His sheep hear His voice, and they know it. He is speaking right now are we listening? It is often just so easy to get caught up in all the busyness of life, and the problems, that we come to the conclusion that God isn't speaking. We don't want to believe that He would leave us on our own to solve a problem, but we aren't hearing His voice. He will not leave you, beloved. Seek Him. Seek His strength and seek, not only His hand in whatever you may be facing. Seek His face. He longs for intentional intimacy and fellowship with us, as much as we do with Him. I know that many of us are busy and seeking God requires time. I urge you to prioritize your life. Seek Him first. Seek Him throughout your day. Listen for the Holy Spirit to give you a gentle nudge as you go through your day. I promise you God will never abandon you and He will not fail you or disappoint you.
