Psalms‬ 100:1-5

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

The only real God, the God who made us and owns us seeks our good and our happiness. He only wants what is best for us in every situation in life. In fact, He made the first move for our ultimate good when He gave His Son to die for our sin and did so while we were still His enemies and still living in sin. Instead of us doing something to appease Him, He made it possible for us to be reconciled to Him. He gave the greatest gift that could be given so we can live in fellowship with Him, not just for a short time on earth but in eternity.

Serving God is the greatest privilege we can be afforded in this life and it brings with it the greatest joy we can know. God has given us His recipe for pure praise and worship to Him from our heart. No other way is acceptable. Let's listen to God's ONLY acceptable way of praise and worship to Him.

(1) Make a joyful noise unto Him, (2) Serve Him with gladness, (3) Come before him with singing, (4) Know that He alone is God and we who are saved are His sheep, (5) Enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise, (6) be thankful and bless His name. In other words, be appreciative for what God has already done in our lives and praise Him for it. Finally, we follow God's order of praise and worship because (6) He is and has been good, He is merciful and kind towards us and (7) He is a faithful God who we can trust and depend upon from generations pass to this present day.

Grateful praise to the Lord our God is the command!!!

Father thank You for this day and for your love for us. Lord let Your abundant blessings flow over my friend and family today. Lord help us rejoice in You, no matter what we face in our lives. Lord give us a positive attitude, not because of our strength but because we know You will always be with us and work things for our good. Lord help us see that this life and the things of this life are fleeting so living for You is all that really matters. Lord we need continued forgiveness. Lord let Your life shine forth in my friend’s life so others will see You and praise You. Daddy we love you amen. Be a blessing. Love you !
