Our Unchanging Lord

Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭7‬-‭8

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In the beginning, God spoke the world into being from nothing and in the beginning was the Word, Who was with God and was very God of very God. That living Word of God is Jesus Christ, the righteous Man born of a woman. Jesus of Nazareth is the incarnate Word, the Son of God Who was given to redeem the world. God has spoken, and His Word is settled in heaven. God has not changed, His Word has not changed, and He will never change, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the eternally existent God Who is the same yesterday, for He is beyond time, space and matter. And in the eternal ages to come He is still the same and the redemptive power of His sacrificial blood will remain efficacious for all forever. He is the ever-present immutable God today, Who remains the same through all our 'today's. We live in a world where things are changing every second. The good news on today is that we serve a God who changes not for scripture declares to the people of God on today that the Lord your God is unchanging in all His ways. Trying to figure out how you are gonna meet those deadlines? How the situation or circumstance will work out? This is your opportunity to trust your God and take Him at His Word. No, we may not know how nor when, but,  what we do know is that we have prayed, trusted, spoke God’s Word by faith with expectations over our situations and we have believed His Word and because He changes not and had come through in the past, we wait with hope in knowing that He will do it again. The unchangeable nature of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, is an all-embracing assurance that His Word is faithful, His promises are true, His saving grace is free to all who trust in Him for salvation, and none of the many precious promises contained in the Word of God can ever fail. The unchangeable God has spoken of His unchangeable Son Who is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow, and throughout the eternity of eternities. His love is unconditional, His grace is everlasting, and His truth endures from one generation to another!!!

Father thank You for this and that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Lord let Your abundant blessings pour out over my friend and family today. Lord thankYou that Your goodness and grace towards us is unchanging and unchangeable. Lord thank You for the many precious promises contained in the Word of God and for the blessed hope, for which we look the glorious appearing of You our great God and Saviour. Lord use my friend the be the light of your love to all today. Daddy we love you amen. Be a blessing. Love ya !!
