Heavenly Dwelling Place

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This verse is a source of comfort and reassurance, reminding us of God's constant presence and care in our lives. The verse speaks of God's goodness and mercy pursuing us throughout our journey, symbolizing His unending love and grace. In the midst of life's challenges, uncertainties and even joys, we are reminded that God's goodness and mercy are unwavering companions.

No matter what the circumstances, no matter what the cause, if we are pursuing God’s will for our lives, His mercy will follow us all the days of our lives so when we do fall, it will hold us up.

In light of this verse, we can be encouraged to trust in God's goodness and love, knowing that it will never leave us. Let us hold on to this truth and let it sustain us through all of life's ups and downs. May we live our lives in the knowledge that God's goodness and love will follow us always, and that one day, we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I see God’s goodness and love following you where ever you go. You can try to out run it, but it’s right there. Every time you turn around, there is God’s love ready to help you and give you what you need for each day.

What an awesome picture. There’s no where you can go to get rid of God’s goodness and love. It’s always following you, ready to bless you everywhere you go.

That should make you love God even more. He loves you so much that He wants nothing but the best for you. So determine to thank Him today for his love that follow you all the days of your life. There’s nothing better than being followed with the good things of God.

Practically, verse 6 invites us to trust in God's goodness and loving kindness. It encourages us to have confidence in His faithfulness and provision, knowing that He will always be with us, guiding and protecting us. It calls us to live in the assurance of our eternal destiny, anchored in the hope of dwelling in God's house forever.

As we meditate on verse 6, we are reminded of the immense blessings that come from our relationship with God. It prompts us to cultivate a grateful heart and recognize the goodness and loving kindness He bestows upon us each day. It invites us to walk in the confidence of God's faithfulness, even in the midst of trials and challenges.

Ultimately, verse 6 speaks of the deep and abiding relationship we have with our Heavenly Father. It reassures us that His goodness and loving kindness will follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in His presence forever. May we find comfort and strength in these words, trusting in God's unwavering love and cherishing the hope of eternity with Him.

But God’s goodness and mercy are not limited to this life only. They will be shown to me forever. When we pass from this life to the next, we will dwell in the house of the Lord. We will not be condemned to destruction. We will not be made to pay for our sins. We will not be isolated from our Lord. We will dwell in His house forever!!!

Father thank You for this day and that You are so faithful to promise us goodness and mercy in this life and the life to come. Lord let Your abundant blessings be my friend and family’s portion today. Lord help us to see Your constant presence even as we see so much messiness around us and in my own life at times. Lord thank You for Your amazing promises of a forever home with You, we will put our trust in You today. Lord use my friend to bless others today. Be a blessing. Love ya

Father we love You. Amen !
