Fear not!

Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭9‬-‭10

“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have stuff we’re afraid of. It might be the fear of speaking in front of others, the fear of heights, the fear of going to the dentist, or perhaps some other fear. Regardless of what type of fear it is, we all face situations in life when we’re afraid. This Bible verse gives us some good news when it comes to fear. It tells us to not be afraid. We don’t have to be afraid because we have a hope that others don’t. We know that God will strengthen us and help us in each situation that we face. It has been said that the comforting words 'Fear Not' appear in the bible 366 times, one for each day of the year plus one for leap year. But no matter how many times these cheering words of encouragement appear, let us always remember that they are spoken by the Creator of the Universe to His people. He is the One Who tells His children not to fear because He can still the raging storm and heal the brokenhearted. He is the One Who tells us not to be anxious and commands us not to fret about evildoers. He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us and promises to be with us forever even to the very end of the age. The Lord Jesus is the One Who charges us not to be discouraged or dismayed because He is our God and that truth should be sufficient. However, when we trust God, believing that He works everything for our best, we can have peace of mind amid our fears. As believers, everything we face is sifted through God's hands. Therefore, we have nothing to fear as long as we walk in His will. While we may not understand why something is happening, we can have faith because God sees every detail. When we feel prone to worry, He wants us to come to Him and talk it out. We have someone who knows the future and the past, who has unlimited wisdom and resources and who is saying that He will help us. When we realize the fact that God is on our side, that He’s ready to walk with us through any situation or circumstance that we might face, we can see why He tells us to not be afraid. God won’t let us down, so we have no reason to be afraid. Regardless of where the opportunity of fear presents itself to you on today, the Word of God declares to you and I "fear not" Why? God is with us, therefore we have no reason to be dismay for the Lord Jehovah is our God who promises to not only strengthen us but to help us and uphold us with His righteous hand!!!

Father thank You for this day and the assurance we have in Your life changing Word. Lord pour out Your abundant blessings over my friend and family today. Lord we know that there are many times that fear has replaced faith in our hearts, yet why should we fear when You have told us so many times to fear not. Lord thank You for Your promise to be with us always, to strengthen us, to be with us and to uphold us with Your righteous right hand, for which we thank You and bless Your Holy Name. Lord use my friend to be the touch of Your love to all today. Daddy we love You amen. Be a blessing. Love ya !
