Deuteronomy‬ 32:7

“Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; Your elders, and they will tell you:”

Deuteronomy‬ 32:7‬ NKJV‬‬

Our world and our country is reeling from many social problems. One of the biggest is lack of respect by the younger folks to their elders. The main reason that this problem exists is that parents are too lazy, scared, or unprincipled to discipline their children as they should and teach them respect for people that are older or in positions of authority over them. One thing I was taught about this matter was, when someone is older than you or in a position higher than you, you have to respect their years of experience and or office whether you respect them as a person or not. Personality clashes are no excuse for a lack of respect in the house of God. We should not be seeking after the things of man, or looking to find the answer to some cosmic question, Well just what does it mean to be us? Too many people today are geared into thinking, worrying, and inquiring after their own selves. We should be inquiring after the Lord. What does that entail? It means that we should seek to know all that we can about Him. We should be deeply devoted to studying His Word. We should look to our elders to teach us things that the Lord has revealed to them over the course of many years of study. Remember that the Lord inhabits His Word and the praise of His people. It is far too easy to be blinded by the glitz and glamour of the world. Take time to search for the things of eternal value. Remember He first loved us. Return His love. In order to discover what His purposes are, we must spend time with the Lord by the study of His Word and prayer. Blessings dear hearts. Walk with God today and be a blessing!!!

Father thank You for this day and Your Word and the lovely many lessons we can learn from it. Lord let Your abundant blessings flow over my friend and family today. Lord thank You for loving us and saving us through faith in You. Lord thank You for the care You so readily give to all Your children and thank You for those times in our lives when You have stirred up our little nests and permitted us to undergo difficult times, which have helped to strengthen our faith and to grow in grace and in a knowledge of You. Lord thank You for Your day by day provision and care, may we be a living witness to Your never failing goodness and grace, both in the words we say and the actions we take. Lord use my friend to be the touch of Your love to all today. Daddy we love you amen. Be a blessing. Love you !
